대삼합육 생칠팔구
大三合六하야 生七八九하고

천지인 큰 3수가 합해 6수 되니 생장성 7·8·9를 생함이네.
The Great Three unite into Six,
which then gives rise to Seven, Eight, and Nine.

운삼사 성환오칠
運三四 成環五七이니라
우주는 3과 4로 운행하고 5와 7로 순환하네.
Everything moves in accordance with Three and Four;
everything circulates under Five and Seven.

일 묘연 만왕만래 용변부동본
一玅衍萬往萬來하야 用變不動本이니라

하나가 오묘하게 뻗어나가 수없이 오고 가는데,

One expands in mysterious ways
while coming and going endlessly,
a great change to the Function occurs,
bringing forth the immutable Body.
